Shipping Policy for Natus Energy Ltd

Last Updated: April 18, 2025

At Natus Energy Ltd, located at Unit 2, 82 James Carter Road, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom, we provide grid-independent electrical power solutions for residential and commercial premises. This Shipping Policy outlines the terms for the delivery and installation of our proprietary generators, which produce electricity sold on a prepaid billing basis. Generators remain the property of Natus Energy Ltd and are not sold to clients.

1. Order Acceptance and Payment Terms

1.1 No order for generator delivery or installation will be accepted, and manufacturing will not commence, unless the client provides one of the following:

  • A Letter of Credit or Standby Letter of Credit issued by a reputable Tier One banking or financial institution, covering the full order value.

  • 1.2 The order value includes the cost of electricity supply (prepaid per kilowatt-hour), any applicable installation or commissioning fees, and delivery charges, as outlined in the client’s quote.
1.3 Quotes are valid for 30 days and will specify payment terms, delivery timelines, and fees.
1.4 The remaining balance (if a deposit is paid) is due prior to delivery or installation, as agreed in the service contract.
1.5 All payments are in GBP and include VAT where applicable, per UK tax regulations.

2. Manufacturing and Delivery Process

2.1 Upon receipt of a valid Letter of Credit, Standby Letter of Credit, or 60% deposit, Natus Energy Ltd will commence manufacturing of the generator tailored to the client’s specifications.

2.2 Delivery timelines depend on the generator’s capacity (100 kWh to gigawatt-hours) and order complexity, typically ranging from 120 days. Exact timelines will be confirmed in the order confirmation.

2.3 Generators are delivered to the client’s specified premises within the UK or internationally, subject to agreement. Delivery includes transportation and, where applicable, installation by our trained technicians.

2.4 Clients are responsible for providing a suitable installation site, including necessary permissions, access, and compliance with electrical safety standards.

3. Shipping and Installation Fees

3.1 Delivery and installation may be free or subject to a commissioning fee, as specified in the client’s quote.

3.2 International shipments may incur additional costs (e.g., customs duties, taxes, or freight charges), which are the client’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

3.3 Any delays caused by the client (e.g., lack of site access) may result in additional charges, communicated in advance.

4. Risk and Title

4.1 Generators remain the property of Natus Energy Ltd at all times. Clients purchase only the electricity produced, on a prepaid basis.

4.2 Risk of loss or damage to the generator during transit passes to the client upon delivery to the specified premises, unless installation is included, in which case risk passes upon completion of installation.

4.3 The Company will maintain insurance for the generator during transit and installation, with details provided in the service contract.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1 Orders may be cancelled before manufacturing begins, with a full refund of any deposit or release of the Letter of Credit, less administrative fees.

5.2 Once manufacturing starts, cancellations are subject to a restocking fee, and deposits may be non-refundable, as outlined in the service contract.

5.3 Residential clients have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to cancel the service contract, starting from the date of agreement. Contact us to initiate cancellation.

6. International Shipping

6.1 For international clients, delivery terms (e.g., Incoterms 2020) will be specified in the service contract.

6.2 Clients are responsible for complying with local import regulations and paying applicable duties or taxes.
